Subject: 20.06.22 Modeling of Drugs and Ligands (MoDaL) Summer School, Torun, Poland,
Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce Modeling of Drugs and Ligands (MoDaL)
Summer School which will take place in Faculty of Physics, Astronomy and
Informatics of Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun, Poland on
June 22th-26th 2020.

The school will cover the basic techniques of quantum chemistry for drug modeling,
approaches for the solvent description, molecular docking and classical
molecular dynamics tools together with a parametrization for non-standard
ligands and additional advanced topics.

Participants of the MoDaL Summer School will take part in introductory
lectures and hands-on sessions with the strong emphasis on the unassisted
computational work. Additionally, in the last two days MoDal participants
will participate in BiT2020 - Bioinformatics in Torun conference which is
held for the twentieth time.

PhD students from outside Poland can apply for nine grants for accommodation
and travel costs from the PROM programme iled by the Nicolaus Copernicus University.
Applications for co-financing can be submitted on the website of PROM
programme:

from January, 20th to February, 7th 2020.

Registration to MoDaL will be opened on March 1st. 2020, after the final grant
decisions. In order to provide comfortable working conditions, number of
participants is limited to 23.
