Research interests of the group include protein folding, interactions of intrinsically disordered proteins, atomic simulation of solvent-mediated biomolecular energetics, as well as DNA topology and disentanglement (see recent publications available from the website listed above, or directly at: http://arrhenius.med.utoronto.ca/). Many of the ongoing projects are collaborative efforts with experimental laboratories. Applicants should be highly motivated individuals with a keen interest in fundamental physical principles, a strong background in biophysics, physical chemistry or physics, have extensive experience in computation and an excellent publication record.
