The Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University
of Tennessee in Knoxville, TN is looking for 2 post-doctoral research
associates to conduct multi scale modeling of fuel cell materials. The
associates will have the opportunity to work in the dynamic research
environment of the UT Computational Materials Research Group
(http://clausius.engr.utk.edu/cmrg/index.html) and to collaborate with
scientists at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. It is expected that a
suitable candidate will have completed a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering,
Materials Science, Computational Physics, or Theoretical Chemistry and
possess a demonstrated record of accomplishment through peer reviewed
publications involving computations and simulations of materials. The
positions have start dates as early as July 1, 2008. With satisfactory work
completed in the first year the positions may be extended up to a total of
3 years. The starting salary for either position is approximately $40,000
