Join us and support our India sales team and distributors to qualify 
potential prospects for Accelrys solutions. In this role you will get 
involved in screening potential customers, understanding their research 
problems and suggesting a modeling solution to them. Sometimes this will 
involve proof-of-concept projects to convince the potential prospects. 

Based at our office in Bangalore, you will have the opportunity to 
interact with Academics, Government labs and industrial companies across 
India. Participation in conferences and publications will be encouraged.

With a PhD in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science or a related field 
with research experience, you will have a good knowledge of informatics 
tools (including data management tools; workflow applications; and 
molecular modeling) used in the chemical industry, proven Perl skills and 
the expertise to write software codes for scientific computation. Equally 
important is your ability to use your excellent presentation and 
interpersonal skills to engage with customers and captivate scientific 
audiences when delivering technical presentations. Experience of using 
Accelrys products would be advantageous but is not essential.

The job will involve travel across India for up to 50% of the time and 
there may be occasional international travel.
