The successful candidate will become part of a multidisciplinary drug discovery team working on both collaborative projects with pharmaceutical/biotechnology partners and in-house efforts to improve and apply drug discovery and development computational methods. Job Description: - Actively participate in Drug Discovery Applications Group projects - Coordinate and monitor internal and external projects - Share computational chemistry expertise with other members of the Group - Work closely with the Development Team to test and improve Schrodinger Drug Discovery technologies Essential Qualifications and Experience: - Ph.D. in computational chemistry, organic chemistry, physical chemistry or biochemistry - 5 years of relevant post-Ph.D. experience in computationally-driven lead discovery and optimization - Experience in at least 3 of the following molecular modeling areas: structure-based drug design, ligand-based drug design, virtual ligand screening, computationally-driven lead optimization, molecular dynamics or homology modeling - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Ability to coordinate and monitor multiple external collaborative projects Benefits include medical, dental, 401(k), flexible spending account, 3+ weeks of vacation, and tuition reimbursement.
