Subject: 09.11.05 Postdoctoral positions, Computational Chemistry, Procter and Gamble
General Position Description:
There are currently two postdoctoral positions open in the Computational
Chemistry Group at Procter and Gamble. One position will be geographically
located in Cincinnati, OH, USA, the other in Brussels, Belgium.

Both positions involve virtual design and evaluation of soft materials and
processes in aqueous environments including the evaluation of mechanical
properties explicitly linked to molecular level engineering.

Job Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will identify, develop and apply suitable methods
and protocols for the virtual design or selection of materials against
experimentally based criteria. The position requires daily interaction with
project team members to design against performance and process criteria,
analytical resources, and external consultants. The team structure is
global thus communication skills are critical.

Job Responsibilities:
A PhD in appropriate physical sciences with extensive experience in
modeling and simulation is required. The successful candidate will have a
track record of applying molecular scale and coarse grained simulation
methods to modeling macroscopic processes and properties. Experience with
a broad range of simulation codes and methods, e.g. LAMMPS, is an
advantage.
