Scientific Account Manager

Chemical Computing Group (CCG) is a life science software company, dedicated to producing leading drug discovery technologies for pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.

Reporting to the Director of Scientific Services, this position requires computational drug discovery experience as well as strong business acumen. The position is located in Montreal, Quebec.

Responsibilities include:

1. Increase sales by prospecting, developing opportunities and closing new and renewal business across the United States.
2. Pre-sales and customer technical support including on-site scientific demonstrations, formal presentations, training and discussions.
3. Growing CCG accounts by identifying customers technical needs and requirements and executing timely solutions.
4. Organize training, technical, sales visits or web-ex sessions for the purpose of helping our customers understand CCG products and growing accounts.
5. Build and maintain positive relationships with research and development scientists and executives.
6. Travel to conferences, customer sites and sales meetings.

Requirements include:

• Ph.D or equivalent experience in computational drug discovery
• Strong relationship building and technical writing skills
• Independent drive and a strong work ethic
• Outgoing and friendly personality
• Travel experience
