Postdoctoral Position in Computational Chemistry/Materials Science

The Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University
of Tennessee in Knoxville, TN is looking for a post-doctoral research
associate to conduct computational studies of organometallic complexes
involving various proton conducting ligands and metals including Cu(I) and
Fe(II). The associate will have the opportunity to work in the dynamic
research environment of the department and to collaborate with scientists
at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. It is expected that a suitable candidate
will have completed a Ph.D. in Computational Chemistry, Physics or
Materials Science and possess a demonstrated record of accomplishment
through peer reviewed publications involving computations and simulations
of organometallic compounds or materials. The start date for the position
is immediately. With satisfactory work completed in the first year the
position may be extended up to a total of 3 years. The starting salary is
approximately $40,000 per year. Interested individuals should send a CV,
