life science research and development, is seeking a computational scientist
to work as part of a team on development of a next generation force field.
The ideal candidate has experience with the application of quantum mechanics
and molecular simulation methods to the development of small molecule force
fields.

Required qualifications include:

- Ph.D. in computational chemistry, biophysics, or related fields
- Unix/Linux and Python experience - Experience in force field development
- Peer-reviewed publications in relevant fields
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Desirable qualifications include:

- Experience applying simulation methods to organic and biological systems
- Experience in the application of quantum mechanics methods
- Experience examining the chemistry and structure of small molecules 
- Experience modeling small molecule ligands in the active site of proteins 
- Experience with cheminformatics tools
