Subject: 10.06.29 Scientist, Discovery Technologies
Ansaris, a privately-held, Pennsylvania-based life science company, was
established in February 2009 to focus on small molecule drug discovery
challenges, by leveraging 10 years of drug discovery expertise including
fragment-based drug design technology from Sarnoff Corporation, protein
modeling technology from Protein Mechanics, Inc. and evolution of
technologies.

The mission of Ansaris is to discover novel therapeutics through a unique
technology platform that integrates virtual drug design, medicinal
chemistry and biology expertise.

We are currently seeking an experienced scientist to use our proprietary
computational fragment-based design methods to discover novel ligands for
targets of pharmaceutical interest, contribute to the development and
extension of internal de novo design technology, and collaborate actively
as part of a design team of computational chemists, medicinal chemists,
and biologists.

Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Computational/Theoretical Chemistry or
related field with at least three years experience in the following areas:
         -Structure-based drug design
-Development and implementation of new algorithms for lead
           discovery and optimization
-Application of molecular dynamics and/or Monte Carlo simulations
           to drug discovery

Programming skills : C, C++, Perl and Python are all highly desirable;
