A postdoctoral position is available immediately in the group of 
Professor Rob Coalson, Dept. of Chemistry, University of Pittsburgh.
The areas of interest include:

1) Development and application of algorithms for computing long-time
conformational dynamics of proteins.  Basic tools involve classical and
stochastic (Brownian) dynamics, as well as equilibrium classical
statistical mechanics. 

2) Development and application of algorithms for computing the 
flux of ions through realistic models of biological ion channel
proteins using Brownian dynamics and MD simulations. 

Experience with Molecular Dynamics simulations and basic knowledge of
protein science are desirable. The position is for one year,
with extension to a second year possible by mutual consent.
