Schrödinger, a technology leader specializing in software solutions for life science research and development, is seeking a computational scientist interested in designing new deep learning primitives for computational chemistry. The goal of this role is to make generalizable models, not simply very good interpolative models. To do this Schrödinger believes that network architectures and data structures should reflect the world they are attempting to model. The candidate should have a demonstrated ability to apply new Machine Learning models into different domains outside of their original first intention. The candidate should understand how Machine Learning algorithms work, and be able to discuss optimal data structures for different physical problems. In order to accomplish this the candidate must have an up to date understanding of current work for Machine Learning in drug discovery.
