Applications are invited for a part-time position (50% FTE) of a Senior Research Associate/Research Programmer in the School of Chemistry at the University of East Anglia. We are looking to employ a motivated researcher or programmer to contribute into the development of the computer codes and GUIs for the simulation methods and algorithms arising from the research in our Computational Chemistry group. In particular, the post holder will contribute to the ongoing research project: Molecular Dynamics (MD) and Electron Paramagnetic Resonance (EPR) spectroscopy on lipid bilayers: new approaches to study biological membranes, funded by EPSRC. Previous experience in either C/C++ or Qt or the use of molecular modelling software would be an advantage. This flexible part-time post (50% FTE) is available from 1 September or as soon as possible thereafter, for a fixed term period of 6 months although the percentage FTE versus the period of employment is negotiable.
