Schrödinger is looking for an exceptionally talented computational scientist to join our New York-based force field development team, working to drive computer-aided discovery by delivering unprecedented levels of accuracy to structure-based modeling. The ideal candidate has demonstrated a facility for developing atomistic physics-based models and deriving model insights from complex molecular applications. Integral to the role is close collaboration with cross-disciplinary groups that span the development and application spectrum.

Required qualifications include:

  • Ph.D. in Computational Chemistry, Biophysics, or related fields
  • Unix/Linux and Python experience
  • Peer-reviewed publications in relevant fields

Desirable qualifications include:

  • Experience applying molecular simulation and QM methods in model validation
  • Experience modeling small molecules and proteins
  • C/C++ programming experience
