Post-doc fellowship in computational chemistry, ENS Lyon, France
One post-doctoral position is opened in the group of Theoretical Chemistry at ENS de Lyon (ENSL), Lyon, France to be hired next fall or as soon as possible (one year + one upon mutual agreement). Our group (20 to 30 members in total, 8 permanent researchers) is highly international, (roughly 10 nationalities) and spans topics from QM/MM for excited states in biological systems to heterogeneous catalysis.
The project is centered on a new generation of complex lanthanides,
so-called crystallophores, which show promising behavior towards protein
crystallography. The aim will be to use molecular dynamics (both
classical and QM/MM) to understand the binding of the crystallophore, and
its action on the protein-protein interface. Please refer to:
This position requires to hold a PhD diploma in computational (bio)chemistry. A background with molecular dynamics and/or DFT is required and kwowledge of docking would be a plus.
Candidates with a suitable background are welcome to contact Pr. Elise Dumont and apply by e-mail (cf. linked pdf).NOTE THAT E-MAIL ADDRESSES HAVE BEEN MODIFIED!!!
All @ signs were changed to =-= to fight spam. Before you send e-mail, you need to change =-= to @
For example: change joe=-=big123comp.com to firstname.lastname@example.org
Please let your prospective employer know that you learned about the job from the Computational Chemistry List Job Listing at http://www.ccl.net/jobs.
