A postdoctoral position is available now in Prof. De-en Jiang's group at Department of Chemistry, University of California Riverside. The position will focus on research in the area of computational chemical separations such as gas separations and ion extractions, in collaboration with an experimental group at a national lab. The research involves design and simulations of advanced materials and molecular functionalities for selectively binding and transporting target molecules and ions. See Prof. De-en Jiang's research at: http://research.chem.ucr.edu/groups/jiang/Home.html An ideal candidate will have experience in molecular quantum chemistry, simulations of materials and interfaces, and liquid-phase molecular dynamics. Pay is standard at $4099/month for a fresh PhD. Riverside is located in southern California, an hour drive to the east of Los Angeles.
