Are you a passionate scientist with a strong interest in turning data into actionable results? You love to translate your ideas into code? You want to enjoy the unique opportunity to dig into vast amount of data of a successful drug-discovery organization? You want your work to have an impact on the way how new medicines will be discovered in the future? Then join BIs Computational Chemistry Group at our research site in Biberach/Germany. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Post Doc to join our team.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • In your new role, you turn data into insight by developing novel data analysis and visualization technologies.
  • You apply and adapt machine learning methods to develop the next generation molecular design tools.
  • You represent your results at scientific conferences and publish your work in peer-reviewed journals.


  • PhD in chemistry, physics, computer science or related field
  • Strong programming skills, preferably python
  • Experience with cheminformatics concepts and toolkits, e.g. RDKit
  • Experience with data science and machine learning toolkits, e.g. pandas, scikit-learn, tensorflow
  • Be a curious and self-driven person
