To: jobs at ccl.net Date: Tue Mar 2 20:36:50 2021 Subject: 21.03.02 Postdoctoral Computational Chemists, Aurora Clark Lab, WSU, Pullman, WA Postdoctoral Computational Chemists, Aurora Clark Lab, WSU, Pullman, WAThe laboratory of Aurora Clark at Washington State University ( https://chem.wsu.edu/faculty/aurora-clark ) is looking for two (2) highly-motivated postdoctoral candidates with a background in computational chemistry (classical molecular dynamics, DFT-based MD), data science and/or applied mathematics(e.g., graph theory, computational topology, or machine learning). The candidate will study multicomponent complex solutions and their interfaces, and design new analysis techniques (as in, DOI: 10.1021/acs.jctc.0c00260) aimed at improving mass transport processes in separations science, elucidating speciation and reactivity under highly non-ideal conditions. These projects are funded by the Department of Energy Office of Science through the Energy Frontier Research Center on Interfacial Dynamics in Radioactive Environments and Materials, as well as the Basic Energy Sciences Separations Program, and the Descriptors of Energy Landscapes Using Topological Analysis NSF Frameworks program (delta-topology.org).
