The draft paper submission deadline is February 4 2008. BCBGC brings together both academic and industrial scientists and developers from a diverse range of disciplines including bioinformatics, computer science, computational biology, genomics, proteomics and chemoinformatics. One of the main goals of the conference is to promote the dissemination of research to a multidisciplinary audience and to facilitate communication among researchers in different fields. Papers that demonstrate applications of existing techniques or developments of new methods are equally welcomed to the conference. The conference will be held at the same time and location where some other major events will be taking place. The website contains more details. Could someone point out which MKL/64bit libraries correspond to the respective MKL/32bit libraries? For example, which MKL/64bit library corresponds to the 32 bit library MKL_IA32? I'm running a 64bit AMD system, and the Intel ifort 64bit compiler from 10.x.y.0023, but it appears from the Makefile that MKL-IA32, and hence the 32bit compiler was used, and the code crashes in a mysterious way for large systems. Hence I want to compile and link at the 64bit level to see if that solves the problem. I recall after following links in a recent post that the Intel 32bit compiler may have difficulty on AMD/64 systems.. Comments welcome!! Thanks!
