Fellow Netters,

Quite a few people responded to my mail about previewing
PostScript file, some with suggestions other wanting to know
what I'd found out. I which to thank all that replied and here
is a summary of the replies:

JGANO@UOFT02 and Dale Southard both suggested T-script, a PostScript
previewer available for $55 at most shareware MacProgram outlets.

Randal Ketchem suggested using Mathematica

Dave Winkler kindly provided the program Print2Pict which serves in
place of a printer and produces PICT files instead of hardcopies. It
is used in conjunction with SendPS. (I did not get this to work though.
I think because we have an old version of SendPS).

Steve Sidner suggested Aldus Superpaint 3.0.

Roger Marks (via Javier Madrego) suggested using Freedom of Press Light
- a PostScript previewer.

Hi Netters! We have connected an IBM PC compatible 486 to a SUN4 by adding
an ETHERNET card to the PC and by using NFS software - we can login into the
SUN from the PC, do FTP and text editting - does anyone know what exactly do
we have to add in order to make the PC also a graphic terminal for the SUN4,
i.e., do OPENWINDOWS etc, thanks.

Hi! I have recently received several requests from undergraduate
students for a major in computational biology. We do not have
such a program here at the University at Albany, but I was wondering
if other institutions have any programs in computational or
mathematical biology for undergraduates. What are the requirements
for such a program? Are there such programs for graduate students?
Any information would be appreciated. Thanx! -Jacque Fetrow

I am looking for a well tested set of Platinum II parameters,
and chloride parameters for use with AMBER. I am aware there are severe
limitations in using MD on metal complexes, however I would like them for
comparison with experimental and AM1 calculations.
