Hi,
I am quite puzzled about two electronegative atoms coming closer to each other, in my case it is Sulfur atom in methionine and Chlorine atom.
Though Sulfur should interact with both electron rich as well as electron poor atoms, my experimental data shows otherwise,

Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated.
