Hi,

   we have some low end machines to run quantum chemistry calculations. They have the 2011 socket, DX79TO motherboard and the i7-3820 cpu. The OS is opensuse 12.2

The strange problem that we are facing is that the machine does not boot without monitor. we have set the run level to 3 (checked in inittab id:3:initdefault:) but the problem was not solved. Also, in the bios we could not find an option for halt on error.

I was wondering if somebody has seen this problem?
