You can now launch Hartree-Fock (HF) and Density Functional Theory (DFT) in your browser and visualize the resulting molecular orbitals, electrostatic potential maps, and other computed properties. The input molecule can be created in 3D directly through the interface. The platform is called CalcUS Cloud (https://calcus.cloud) and is an open-source project (github.com/cyllab/CalcUS). We want to give teachers better tools for the classroom and make quantum chemistry more concrete for students. There is no installation required and the platform is accessible from anywhere at any time. As always, all feedback helps to drive the project forward. I'd love to hear what part of the platform is useful for you and what is missing. You can test out the platform for yourself: https://calcus.cloud Cheers! Raphael Robidas raphael (at) calcus.cloud
