Dear netters,

I am trying to catch up with methods in solid state physics, and I wondered
if anybody can recommend some litterature (books) that covers the subject,
having in mind that my background is "chemical".

                                         Best regards

         TUTORIALS IN COMPUTATIONAL CHEMISTRY

           NOW AVAILABLE IN ELECTRONIC FORM

Four weeks after the announcement of the availability of the
first in a series of tutorials in computational chemistry, edited
by Tim Clark, Science Learning Ltd. is shipping an electronic
version of "Tutorials in Computational Chemistry: Semiempirical
MO Calculations".

Priced at US $39, the electronic version is equivalent to the
physical book in content and make up.

For more details, table of contents and an example chapter,
please visit Science Learning's home page at

Subject: 3D Lennard-Jones phase diagrams?

Hi ya,

I'm looking to see if there are any online (or if not the best
references) for 3D LJ phase diagrams, specifically relating to the
liquid-solid phase transition at various pressures. If possible I'd
like the temperature of the transition at different pressures, as well
as the liquid and solid densities at those points.

thanks!

Richard
