Methods and Applications of Computational Chemistry
Fourth Symposium
28 June - 2 July 2011, Lviv, Ukraine
The Symposium is organized by Ukrainian-American Laboratory of Computational Chemistry (Kharkiv, Ukraine - Jackson, USA), STC "Institute for Single Crystals", National University "Lviv Polytechnic", G.V.Karpenko Physico-Mechanical Institute, and A.V.Bogatsky Physico-Chemical Institute under support of Technological Park "Institute for Single Crystals".
SCOPE OF THE SYMPOSIUM
All areas of computational chemistry as well as quantum chemistry will be covered. Particular focus will be put on the following topics:
• molecular modeling in biology and biotechnology;
• modeling of processes on surfaces;
• intermolecular interactions;
• QSAR/QSPR and drug design.
PARTICIPATION
Both poster and brief oral presentations are welcomed. Abstracts corresponding to the scope of the Symposium are accepted without reviewing. Oral presentations should be approved by the organizers.
Official language of the Symposium is English. No translations will be provided.
All participants are required to register for the conference through our site and pay the corresponding registration fees. The deadline for registration is 15 March 2011. Abstracts should be submitted the same way. The deadline for abstracts submission is 1 May 2011.
Registration fee is US $200 for all participants. It covers participation, coffee breaks, printed Book of Abstracts, conference dinner, lunches, and city excursion. However, this fee does not cover accommodation.
As of now, our list of invited lecturers contains 35 recognized names from 16 countries.
