The University of Wollongong Node of the ARC Centre of Excellence in 
Quantum Biotechnology (QUBIC) is hiring an Associate Research Fellow 
(postdoctoral fellow) in computational chemistry. The Molecules research 
theme at QUBIC aims to develop quantum tools and computational techniques 
to study single proteins with unprecedented speed and specificity, 
enabling new insights into disease and a step change in molecular 
engineering. The project will be conducted in close collaboration with 
QUBIC groups and other collaborators. 

 Fixed-term three years, full time
 Level A: $90,795 - $106,374 + 17% Superannuation
 Location: Wollongong, Australia
 Deadline: 01/09/2024

Requirements:

 PhD in Chemistry, Physics or related fields
 Knowledge and skill set applicable to multiscale modelling including 
physics-based or data-driven models.
 Demonstrated experience in developing and applying computational 
techniques to biological systems.
 Familiarity with high-performance computing and significant experience 
with programming and scripting.
 Evidence of publications in reputed refereed journals and presenting 
at conferences.
