The Autumn 2024  PhD recruitment call of the Medical University of Vienna is now open! 

We invite applications for all currently open PhD positions across our 18 interdisciplinary PhD programs. We believe that groundbreaking research in medical related sciences thrives at the intersection of many disciplines. Our university is a hub for international basic and applied research at the heart of Vienna. We welcome innovative thinkers from fields such as engineering, computer science, mathematics, life sciences and beyond.

We invite applications from individuals who hold a Master's or BSc.Hon (equals to 4 year regluar study time) degree from an accredited university. Relevant research experience is highly advantageous and will enhance your candidacy in the selection process. We seek candidates who demonstrate a genuine passion for the specific research area, a commitment to scientific inquiry, and the ability to tackle complex challenges. Proficiency in English at a minimum C1 level is essential for effective communication within our diverse research environment, and applicants will be required to provide proof of their English proficiency upon admission.
