2 Postdoc positions in Computational Chemistry at 
Scuola Normale Superiore, Pisa, Italy

The positions can be filled as from April 2025.

Two postdoc positions are available at the Scuola Normale Superiore (Pisa, Italy)  in 
the group of Prof. Giuseppe Brancato. 
The research project concerns the theoretical and computational study of 
metal complex systems by exploiting different approaches ranging from first principle calculations 
to molecular dynamics simulations and computational spectroscopic methods. 
The research will be carried out in close collaboration with experimentalists 
working in the field. The research will also benefit from a newly established 
computing center and a stimulating environment within the campus of 
Scuola Normale Superiore.

The applicant should have a solid background in Physics, Chemistry or 
Life Sciences and an overall strong motivation. Documented experience 
and skills in modeling and simulations of biological systems are a 
prerequisite, as well as experience in scientific computing. Ability to work 
independently as well as to collaborate with a team is also crucial.
