Applications are invited for postdoctoral positions in theoretical and
computational chemistry in the group of Markus Meuwly, Department of
Chemistry, University of Basel, Switzerland. The initial appointment
is for one year, with the possibility to renew for a second year.

Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, or
related fields. A strong background in computational/theoretical
chemistry/physics (e.g., statistical mechanics, computer simulation,
electronic structure theory) and programming skills are essential. The
main theme of our research is to develop and apply state-of-the-art
machine learning-based computational tools for characterizing and
understanding chemical reactions based on molecular simulations. For
