Job Description

A postdoctoral opening is available in the group of
 Chad Hoyer (www.chadhoyer.com) to begin Summer 2025 (June preferred).
 The position is on-site for 1 year, with opportunity for second-year
 renewal pending approval of year-3 continued award funding and
 performance.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a postdoctoral appointment at
 The University of Texas at El Paso. The postdoc will be responsible
 for conducting research, collaborating with faculty members,
 participating in academic activities, and working with undergraduate
 and graduate members of the group. Compensation: $57,218 for the first
 year.

- United States Citizenship
- Experience with quantum chemistry calculations or heavy-element chemistry
- Strong research skills and ability to critically analyze data
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with faculty and peers
- Demonstrated commitment to academic excellence
- PhD in a relevant field
- Strong organizational and time management skills
