This directory contains my encounters in installing Oracle under Linux. While I installed Oracle under RH7.0, it is not really a solid environment for Oracle whose version 8.1.7 was prepared with RH6.1. If you have a choice, go with RH6.2 which is essentially the debugged RHh6.1.
