How to format the your job page?
- Please enter job description as plain text. The text will be
displayed exactly as if you typed it on a typewriter. Your
text should not extend past the right margin of the input boxes.
Look at jobs already posted at CCL Jobs Page for examples of formatting.
- Make your synopsis line short so it fits one line.
- Line breaks are critical in the JOB DESCRIPTION and HOW TO APPLY
boxes. If you Copy/Paste from the word processor please insert
explicit line breaks and spaces (click with a mouse
at spots where they are needed and hit [Enter] or
[Space] keys).
- Avoid special characters and non-Latin letters.
They do not display correctly in many browsers due to lack of fonts.
Even when you see them on your computer, there is no guarantee that others
will see them too. It is unlikely that people in, for example, English
speaking countries, will have German or French fonts installed.
Please use transliteration, e.g.: ß -> ss,
ö -> oe, ç -> c, etc.

- If you have URLs in your text (e.g.,
http://somebigcomp1.com/jobs) they will be
automatically converted to active links on the page.
E-mail addresses will be automatically obfuscated
to protect them against e-mail harvesting robots used
by spammers. Humans will easily recover the correct
contact email address.
- If you absolutely have to enter your job
description using HTML rather than plain text, enclose the text
in JOB DESCRIPTION and HOW TO APPLY boxes in the <html> ...
</html> tags, and make sure that you review your
page diligently before approving it for public posting.
But again, I encourage you to use plain text without markup,
since it is much easier for your audience to save, print,
search and process.
