I use MatLab from The MathWorks, Inc (info@mathworks.com) to produce
contour plots and mesh plots.  It uses color on the Mac II and produces
contours of quite high resolution from moderately sized matrices
generated from analytic functions or read in as a datafile.  An external
file must contain data at every point in the nxm matrix.  

I should appreciate some contouring source code in Pascal or FORTRAN
myself since I should like to incorporate contour plotting within other
pgms.  This would have to be Mac-specific to be useful to me.  I assume
that Ya-Jun Zheng at Penn State would prefer such code to using MatLab.
