base-pair stacking

 Dear netters,
 I am asking if any of you have any good references on base pair
 stacking interactions. The book by: W. Saenger 'Principles of Nucleic
 Acid Structure' gives several references up until about 1980.
 I am particularly interested in any references (possibly preprints?)
 on this subject from the point of view of moleculer modeling/simulations
 (especially free energy calculations) and ab initio or semi-emperical
 energy calculations.
 In addition, if there are any thoughts on this subject that you would like
 share, i would like to hear (read) them. I have only begun studing base-pair
 interactions, therefore have nothing much to say.
