dual celeron

dear ccl readers
I summarize the informations concerning the dual celeron.
 The original question was:
 does anybody uses
bp6 dual socket 370 motherboard with two 500 MHz celerons.
 price looks attractive.
 It should work under linux.
 informations:
 1-David Groeten uses a 2x400 Celeron + 128 Mb
 +8Gb+Network+video card + redhat 6.0
It works fine for about 900 dollars
 2-S.Janicki plans to use it.
3-Other people in France told me they have such a system.
 No problem.
4-At the present time, the new 500MHz celerons are not supported
We have to use the 466 MHz only.
 (see the list
 http://www.bp6.comm/
 (communicated by S.Janicki)
 as things are changing everyday)
5-There is a new how to on smp with a section devoted to celeron.
see also the dual celeron myth at
 http://www.hardwarecentral.com/hardwarecentral/reports/7/2/3/
As a conclusion, it looks attractive.
