why autogrid3 can't run on my DEC alpha?

hello, all,
 I encountered a serious problem when I ran autogrid3 on my alpha(OSF1
 alpha V4.0 1091 alpha),
 it always causes "Segmentation fault (core dumped)", even after I
 recompiled it.
 But, autodock3 can run properly.
 Would you like to tell me how to escape this terrible problem?
