Dear Willy,
solubility in (thermoplastic) polymers can be calculated very
efficiently with our COSMOtherm program very efficiently. There is not
much published about polymer applications of COSMOtherm, exept a
chapter
in my book
A. Klamt, "COSMO-RS: From Quantum Chemistry to Fluid Phase
Thermodynamics and Drug Design", Elsevier, 2005
Indeed, when I developed COSMO-RS during my time at Bayer, most of our
applications have been with respect to solublity in Polymers, but this
is unpublished and proprietary work.
By the way, RWTH Aachen in some departments already has a license of
COSOtherm. Please give me a call for more details.
Best regards
Andreas

Dear CCL friends,
I like to investigate the solubility of small molecules in polymers
computationally. Can you advice me how to proceed or point me to some
literature or other sources to start with?
