CCL: Science code manifesto



The computer is your equipment, whereas the code is the analytic tool used to calculate the result and is thus part of the experiment..

So, why do we have to justify the design of our equipment (i.e., the source code)?

Or, conversely, why don't they have to to justify the design of their equipment?
