Dear computational chemist/chemoinformatician
We hope this email finds you well in these challenging times and that you are
in good health.
As you are well aware, the Sheffield Conference on Chemoinformatics and the
International Conference on Chemical Structures (ICCS) are two of the major
conferences in our field. Normally these conferences are organized every 3
years and care is taken to avoid overlap in organization in order to avoid
diluting the quality of the conferences and give all experts the ability to
attend.
Unfortunately the corona pandemic disrupted this regular schedule. The
organizers of the ICCS and Sheffield conference were in touch to address this
issue. After deliberation it was decided that the ICCS will take place June
12th - June 16th 2022 in Noordwijkerhout at the NH Leeuwenhorst. More info on
the renewed website: www.iccs-nl.org (note that we are also transferring the
old domain name)
Similarly the Sheffield conference will be delayed by one year and it is
anticipated that the next conference will be in June 2023.
We are very hopeful that the role-out of the international vaccination
campaign will allow us to take up the organization of these very important
interaction opportunities in a normal on-site manner and look forward to
seeing you there!
On behalf of the ICCS and Sheffield Conference organization,
Gerard van Westen and Val Gillet
