NAME:     ANNEAL - Simulated Annealing.

   Description:    This mailing list covers theory and application of simu-
      lated annealing, which is a computer algorithm for performing com-
      binatorial optimization. It is used for a variety of problems, includ-
      ing VLSI placement, network optimization, protein folding and logic
      minimization. Members of the annealing mailing list are typically
      researchers in the field.  Please investigate the algorithm on your
      own before posting questions to this list.
