   Description:    metallurgy-l is a discussion list for all aspects of metal-
      lurgical engineering.  This includes (but is not necessarily limited
      to) mineral processing, extractive metallurgy, hydrometallurgy, py-
      rometallurgy, metals refining, alloying, welding, casting, metallogra-
      phy, etc. It is mainly intended both for students and professional
      metallurgists. Appropriate topics include technical discussion, meet-
      ing announcements, and other materials that the members feel are
      appropriate.
