DEALING WITH TEXT IN THE BOXES

You need to pay attention to line breaks. When cutting/pasting from a word processors, the paragraphs in your posting will be usually represented by a VERY LONG single line:

Of course, if you are an expert in HTML, you can obtain automatic line breaks and other stunning effects by using HTML mark-up. For example:

Now you can clearly see why using blinking attribute is a bad style. You wish, you entered the text as plain {:-)}.
 
If you use plain text, the links like: http://www.ccl.net will be automatically converted to active, clickable links, i.e., http://www.ccl.net.
 
In both cases (plain text and HTML) all email addresses will be automatically obfuscated by replacing the @ signs by some sequence of random characters. The explanation will be automatically inserted into the page how to recover the correct e-mail address. While live human can do it, the spambots (the robots that scan web pages for e-mail addresses for spammers) will choke on this.
 
Please avoid non-Latin letters in your text. They will not be displayed correctly in most browsers due to lack of fonts. If there is no established transliteration, just skip the diacritical marks. While it may hurt your national pride, try to be pragmatic about it. The manager of this forum gave up on proper spelling of his name a long time ago.
