Scientific scope
This continuing series of biennial international conferences promotes
the growth and exchange of scientific information on photonic, electronic 
and atomic collisions and such related areas of atomic and molecular physics
that the governing bodies of the conference shall from time to time select.

Venue
The Concert House (Konzerthaus) is a modern congress center right in the 
heart of Freiburg equipped with the very latest conference technology. 
It is just a short walk to the pedestrian zone; the cathedral and other 
scenic spots are not far away. Many hotels are within walking distance, 
there is direct access from the underground parking garages and from the 
main train station to the Congress center.
