From: chemistry-request at ccl.net To: chemistry-request at ccl.net Date: Tue Jun 10 06:02:47 2008 Subject: 09.02.17 Workshop on Theoretical Chemistry, Mariapfarr, Austria The Institute of Chemistry at the Karl-Franzens-Universitaet Graz announces the Workshop on Theoretical Chemistry 2009: Molecular Interactions 17 - 20 February 2009, Mariapfarr (Austria) Early-bird registration deadline: December 21, 2008. The topic of the 14th workshop is the description of molecular interactions with both, wave function and DFT based methods, and applications to molecule-surface interactions, as well as interactions in solids and between biomolecules. Lecturers: Krzysztof Szalewicz (Delaware): Wave-function approach to molecular interactions. Georg Jansen (Duisburg-Essen): DFT approach to molecular interactions. Joachim Sauer (Berlin): Molecule-surface interactions. Sally Price (London): Intermolecular interactions in solids. Pavel Hobza (Prague): Interactions of biomolecules. Scientific Organization: Bogumil Jeziorski (Warsaw) For further information contact alexander.sax!^!uni-graz.at or visit the webpage at http://www.uni-graz.at/tchwww/sax/mariapfarr/. We hope to see you in Mariapfarr. With kind regards Alexander F. Sax Local organizerNOTE THAT E-MAIL ADDRESSES HAVE BEEN MODIFIED!!! All @ signs were changed to !^! to fight spam.
