Dear colleague,

We invite you to participate in the upcoming workshop on biological physics
and systems biology entitled

"From Computational Biophysics to Systems Biology 2015 (CBSB2015)"

which will take place at the SAMIS Education Center of the University
of Oklahoma Health Science Center in Oklahoma City, OK (USA) on May 17-19, 2015.

* There are opportunities for oral presentations, and *
* students/postdocs are eligible for travel fellowships. *

CBSB2015 is organized in conjunction with the University of Oklahoma and the
University of Central Oklahoma, and will continue a series of successful workshops
that have been held since 2006 in both Europe and the USA.

As in previous years, the workshop aims to bring together expertise from physics,
biology, and computer science to discuss current trends in computational
biophysics and systems biology. Topics of CBSB2015 will include folding and
aggregation, protein-protein complexes, supra-molecular assemblies, cellular
environments and interaction networks A special session will be devoted to
cancer related research..

A list of confirmed speakers includes as keynote speakers:

* Philip Bourne (National Institutes of Health)
* Ken Dill (Stony Brook University)
* Jose Onuchic (Rice University)

and as further invited speakers:

* Pradipta Bandyopadhyay (Jawaharlal Nehru University)
* Robert B. Best (National Institutes of Health)
* Carlos Camacho (University of Pittsburgh)
* Alemayehu Gorfe (University of Texas Health Sciences Houston)
* Daisuke Kihara (Purdue University)
* Maria Kurnikova (Carnegie Mellon University
* Ruth Nussinov (National Institutes of Health)
* Wei Wang (Nanjing University)
* Guanhong Wei (Fudan University)
* Sichun Yang (Case Western University)

We especially encourage participation by students and postdocs, and we expect
to offer financial support for selected students and postdocs on a competitive
basis. Five junior scientists (students and postdocs) will be selected to
receive a

        "CBSB2015 Young Researcher Award"

which we expect to include a $400 travel fellowship and the opportunity to
give a featured oral presentation. Awardees will also be exempt from the
registration fee. Contingent on availability of funds, 10 additional
junior scientists will receive travel awards of $200 each and free
