Subject: 17.11.06 28th National and 16th International Conference on Global challenges and Chemistry, Karachi, Pakistan to be held on 6-8th November 2017
To improve chemistry-related interdisciplinary activities, Chemical Society 
of Pakistan annually organizes ‘’National and International Chemistry Conference” 
in different universities of Pakistan. The ‘’1st National Chemistry conference’’ 
was held in 1989 at University of Peshawar. The “1st International and 
11th National Chemistry Conference” was held on 10-14 April 2001 at the same University. The most recent “27th National and 15th International 
Chemistry Conference” was held on 22-25 August 2016 at University of Malakand.


Through this conference series, an interdisciplinary forum to expose and discuss innovative theories, frameworks, methodologies, tools, and 
applications, as well as practical challenges encountered and solutions 
adopted in the fields of chemical sciences, is provided to young scholars
 and researchers.  Many of the life-improving needs of our country in 
areas such as health and medicine, food and agriculture, energy and the
 environment is heavily dependent on advancement in chemical knowledge.
 Our strength in chemistry research is an asset we must nurture by 
encouraging scientific gatherings to discuss the issues and 
accomplishments in the field of Chemical Sciences. In addition, these 
conferences also include keynote lectures which are delivered by 
prominent scientists and experts, addressing key challenges facing our
 society today, such as creating and securing supplies of energy and 
food, improving and maintaining accessible health, and developing and 
ensuring the sustainable management of water and air quality.
